Personality

Mynos is a bit gloomy and shy, and definitely an introvert, which clashes with Amos' boisterous demeanor. But he's very smart and studious, and almost a prodigy with crystal magic. Due to being attractive, good at magic and having an important role in the Council, Mynos makes enemies easily, even if he would never harm or offend anyone on purpose. This has also turned him into a bit of a jaded person who does not trust easily.

Mynos likes reading, researching, practicing crystal magic and being alone, and prefers the company of people who don't speak too much. He collects crystals and rocks (even non-magical ones). He dislikes the Council, and having to preside to public events.

Appearance

Mynos is slim and a bit short, with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. He is considered "pretty" by his culture's standards. He usually wears a ceremonial Council uniform, which is very slutty because this is a porn story the Council members are mostly gross old men. He wasn't raised to see this type of clothing as anything problematic though, as his classmates (of any gender) wear the same thing.

He is a crystal mage, and a very good one who is capable of using all elements, so he often has many crystals with him in the pouches he wears around the hips. The crystals in the arm bands and the hat can also be used for magic.

Story

Mynos Eskel is an orphan who got rescued by the Coucil and put under their guard and tutelage, after both of his parents died at the hands of the demon Shak. Mynos was very young when this happened, and has no memories of his parents.

Growing up under the Council meant he had a strict education, but also that he did not want for anything. Despite his rigid schedule and carefully supervised diet and daily activities, he never went hungry and his safety was always assured. He and his fellow classmates were taught crystal magic at a high level, and Mynos stood out as the best among all of them.

This turned out to be a curse, as when he became 21, he was chosen as Amos' next vessel. This was not a decision he could challenge, as Amos' vessel is almost always an unwilling party. It is thought that, if the vessel is willing, they would use Amos' power for their selfish purposes.

As expected Mynos was not at all happy with these news. Had he not been chosen as a vessel, he could've gone out into the world and lived the life he wanted, but as a vessel, he'd be required to stay in the Council, preside over every boring meeting (so that the Council can consult Amos through Mynos), be subjected to an endless battery of tests meant to understand the soul transfer ability Amos has, and live within the Council Hall until he is too old or infirm to continue being a vessel. Also, he cannot have sex with other people, lest Amos' soul leaves him.

Not long after the Soul Transfer Ceremony (in which Amos' soul is passed from the former vessel to the new via penetrative sex), Mynos feels Amos' presence within him, and the Legendary Hero asks only one thing of him: "Please let me die."

Mynos quickly understands that Amos is a prisoner as much as he is, and that the Council is keeping them both captive. Soon too, Mynos discovers that many Council members want to have Amos' soul for themselves...
