Amos Armaros

Profile

Name: Amos Armaros

Age: He is a spirit possessing Mynos, and chooses to appear in Mynos' mind as a man in his 50s. But in reality, he's already dead; died of natural causes at age 72. He can theoretically present himself as anything, but he quite likes this form.

Birthday: April 28th

Occupation: Legendary Hero (now deceased)

Race: Human (when alive), Spirit (now)

Height: 191cm

Fitness: Very fit, when alive he was a bit of a diet and muscle freak.

Personality

Amos is very boisterous, curious and energetic. He has a real zest for life, which is ironic since he is currently dead. Even as a spirit possessing other people, he still remains positive and upbeat, often to the annoyance of his vessels.

He has a vast knowledge of crystals, but seems hesitant to share it. When he was alive, he was known to be quite the playboy, and would sleep around with anyone, of any gender. He also loved working out.

Appearance

Amos is tall and very fit, which a result of rigorous training. He has brown skin and long dark brown hair, mustache and eyes. He likes to wear comfortable pants that allow him to run and climb easily (well, when he was alive).

Story

Amos Armaros was a mercenary for hire, known to be powerful and also a playboy.

He was the one who slayed the demon Shak, and upon slaying the demon, he was granted a vast land as a reward and became a Council advisor (think of it as a senator role). He married a woman named Thandie and when he and her were making love, they discovered his soul could freely move between their bodies, so long as they were physically connected.

In a Council meeting, he told everybody of his newfound power and proved that his claim was true. Yes, it was an orgy, basically.

It was quickly decided then that his soul would be preserved, so further studies could be made, and that a vessel would be prepared for him whenever his current one becomes too old. Amos was initially in agreement with this, but as he was transferred to his first vessel, Alder, he realized he was just bringing misery into their lives. And after Thandie's death, he lost some of his will to live as well.

However, the Council members believe to this day he is the key to achieving immortality, and will not let his soul die.

When a vessel contains Amos' soul, he can talk and move their bodies, regardless of the vessel's actual size and physique. If he is stronger than the vessel, he can take over their body completely, but he seldom resorts to that, on principle.

The vessel also becomes immune to most common diseases and gets faster regeneration, but is not really immortal: they can be killed by untreatable wounds, say like having their head chopped off.
